Also, expect the levels to contain a couple of bugs of varying degrees. Since this is a leaked map pack, it does not contain the same continuity and transition as the officially released version. The AI in this version is also different, leading to some wonky monster behavior. A fun detail to check out as you replay this different version of HL2 is that some enemies here look different from their final version.
The maps in this version only bear slight differences compared to the released version, applying to the textures, set designs, and even monster spawns and locations. These maps comprise the mod, in their original 2003 glory. The content was released, including early versions of the stages players know and love today. Some fans got too excited, hacked into Valve servers, and found files used for the still-in-development sequel. With the original Half-Life game being a monumental hit, players were eagerly waiting for its sequel-and Half-LStoryline Port Mod is a good throwback to it.
